MANAGING SPACE ON YOUR PHONE
WHATSAPP HIDDEN FILES
Did you know that Whatsapp Hidden Files are files generated from your friends status, links you shared and others and are stored temporarily on your phone. Did you know that you don’t need any app to save Whatsapp Status on your phone? If you have no answers to the above question. This post will help you provide answers.
Whenever you check status, they are stored temporarily on your phone for twenty-four hours as hidden files after which they get deleted automatically. If you don’t have enough storage on your phone, this can affect you because once you keep checking status, it keeps storing and since you don’t check statuses at once, so the deletion can’t be done, if it is not yet twenty four hours, you can’t get them deleted. This can result in your storage being always busy with junk files and you will be unable to perform some tasks. I will show you how you can delete those status and links to free up space whenever you want.
However, you might need some videos and photos on your friend’s status, I will show you how to copy and paste them on your phone without the aid of any external app
Here are the steps to perform both delete and copy status files on your phone yourself
- Go to your phone file manager
- Click the search widget or button and search for statuses
- It will show you the path (location) to your Whatsapp Status store
- You then highlight and delete all
- If you need them, you then cut and paste them in any folder in your phone external storage.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD YouTube VIDEOS AND SAVE THEM ON YOUR PHONE
YouTube is an amazing platform to learn anything. I say anything. A friend of mine call YouTube the best teacher. If you are intentional, there is hardly anything you can’t learn on YouTube.
The only con of YouTube is that it doesn’t allow you to save video for sharing. I guess that is to prevent you from sharing the content so others can come and watch themselves.
However here are simple steps on saving YouTube Videos:
- Once you get to the Youtube Video, copy the link to the video, that can be done by clicking the share button.
- After copying the link. Go to www.savefrom.net
- You will see where to paste the link there and it will brig the option for you to download the video in your preferred quality. The higher the quality, the greater the megabyte that will be used in downloading it.
- Download!
